Is it possible? And if they are, are they even any good at all?

I've found a couple T35 for cheap but nobody around here revels in the glory that is early war.

They didn't survive past the battle of Moscow, although most of them were scuttled by their crews long before then. The T35 is very much an early war tank.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.
-Leman Russ, Meditations on Imperial Command book XVI (AKA the RT era White Dwarf Commpendium).
Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Except the T35 used by Kampfgruppe Ritter while defending Zossen in 1945...

Is there a list for that by any chance?

That's an interesting unit. A T35 in late war would last as long as it did in reality....

There isn't a list for this unit, or even much information in English, but given Battlefront's fascination with tanks I expect one eventually.

Why do you need a list?

Just use a T35 with some German stuff...

KG Ritter is an odd bag of stuff, couple of Elephants too.

By list I mean... FoW equivalent of codex that I can build an army from for tournaments

If I can take a T35 and a Tiger in the same force my life will be complete

No list yet. I don't think the late war books have gotten quite that late yet. The most recent book is starting to show some "desperation unit" lists, but iirc it's still merely training formations and not "scraping the bottom of the barrel inside the barrel."

Best buy Battlegroup then... could do it with the German list in Fall of the Reich...

I play some EW. It is a lot of fun if you can be a little alert with army building to avoid rock, paper scissors. Because of the of the shorter ranger of the weapons, EW is the only period where you actually can manouver unlike LW where artillery and high power weapons obliterate everything. The T-35 and unfortunatly all the soviet "heavy" tanks are utter trash against anything bigger than a HMG. The conscript rating and horrible armor fools no one and they are because of their TA2 very expensive. If you want soviet heavies, play finns.

Nah. In the Early War era, if you want Soviet heavies, then play T-34s.

Yes, they're really mediums, but they're close enough given the opposition they're facing

You can maneuver pretty well in MW too. There isn't as high a concentration of medium or heavy artillery or heavy tanks as you tend to come across more often in LW.

Thats pretty much the impression I got of late war, good to know I made the right choice avoiding it. Already play one gunline game god knows I don't need another

Late War isn't necessarily bad or no fun though. It can be great, a lot of it just depends on your local meta-game.
