Need some help getting the most out of a Mono-Khorne list.

First up, a little comp info; Inquisition and Knights are in but use your allies slot, dataslates in, formations out, forgeworld permitted. Known uber lists such as screamer council, that gak with five riptides, seer council, tau deep strike bomb gak are hit with the comp bat pretty hard, however my list gets off scot free.

Bloodthirster, Lesser, Greater, Greater @ 300
2x Heralds of Khorne, Juggers, Locus of [Hate], Lesser, Lesser @ 290
[Allied] Be'lakor @ 350

10x Bloodletters @ 100
10x Bloodletters @ 100

[Allied] 10x Cultists @ 50
[Allied] 10x Cultists @ 50

20x Dogs @ 320
20x Dogs @ 320

1880

Open to any suggestions, especially regarding facing knights. It'd be nice if there was any counter whatsoever to Inquisitors but nope they're just gonna forge a narrative all over any khorne list.

Been considering dropping heralds and taking either +20 dogs or a Khorne Prince from CSM. Those relic weapons really help make up for Khorne Princes being essentially worse versions of any other daemon prince. I know the dogs benefit from the heralds, but do they really benefit *that* much given they raise the price of the unit by 50%?

Looking at your list the first thing that comes to mind for me is that your troops choices are done for. Cultists die, that's their job, and 20 bloodletters aren't gonna do much better. Maybe find a way to get some more bloodletters in there? Or maybe even some chaos marines for camping backfield objectives? Just something that's not gonna die to a stiff breeze.

I think the hounds do benefit from the heralds that much. Rerolling to hit on the charge is pretty awesome (although I usually go for the Rage locus) and in my experience, the dogs don't really kill that much, the heralds do. You just need lots of dogs to make sure the herald gets to where he needs to be (and maybe chew a few squishies in the process). Maybe you could swap a couple rewards for the portalglyph? I know you lose the ap2 on the herald (and trust me I hate that), but it could solve your troops problem.

Lol. Love this.

I honestly think that to go mono-khorne is to forfeit the objectives battle and just run around collecting skulls.

Bloodletters are double the price of cultists and all they get is a 5++. Cultists seem pretty crap but I'm just trying to get whatever scoring I can. Chaos Marines could be a good option... for one I actually *have* the models... but from what I can tell power armour is pretty terrible this edition and I have no idea how to make them worthwhile.

@ astro

Unfortunately I only have 20 bloodletters and have no intention of buying any more of the useless things. Since I also don't want to break theme I'm stuck daemon troops wise with the 20 I've got.
