Well done sir!! So nice to have Dakka Demons each year It's a very impressive and atmospheric piece. I personally find the sword a little off from the feeling and imagery of the model itself, but that's a minor nitpick.

I had opened bone colour paints for the sword before making a last minute descision to go with the purple. Only reason was I thought the brighter colour and contrast would help make the model stand out in the cabinet, 'the best painted model won't win a deamon if it's not spotted by the judges in the first place' sort of thing. At some point in the future I may return and give it a new colour, and dirty down the parchment a little. It feels a bit clean for my liking.
