Middle Earth

I've lived in three countries and had a very many attempts made at my accent including, but not limited too, Canadian, French, Texan, Minnesotan, Singaporean, and Boston. Right now it kinda migrates between mid-west American and Mid-Atlantic.

We're watching you... scum.

The Great State of New Jersey

I'd like to think I have no accents, I.E. - I speak 'American neutral' or 'typical American'. This was not too long ago reinforced to me when I met a young lady from California whose response to me telling her I was from Jersey was "Oh, I never would have guessed, you guys don't have any accent!" (side note; don't ever tell a New Jerseyan this, there is no New Jersey accent, the accent that you are lead to believe is a New Jersey accent, i.e. the whole 'New Joisey' thing, is in fact a New York City accent).

However, I know full well that I do have a very subtle and minor accent that people only pick up on once they get to know me. It comes from growing up in a household with two non-native english speakers, between my dads German/Hungarian accent and my moms Spanish accent, I bastardize the pronunciation of words in all sorts of ways that most people don't notice until they get to know me... also, I say y'all a lot, so theres that too....

The one thing I am most definitely grateful however, is that I DONT have a New York City accent, that accent is the trashiest of the trash.

Dangit. Some odd reason you gave me the urge to re-watch Viking again
