I am planning on running a squad of 5 with 3 storm shields and two powerfists. Cant decide if I want to have them overlap on the same models or have them all on different models(hence magnetizing the arms). I like having purely disposable models that also dont loose attacks but at the same time I want the stormshield guys to take the hits
Add on a WGBL with armor of russ and twin claws and you got a unit that can deal with anything.

Honestly, I think the thunder hammer is worth it. Then if you slam into a monstrous creature of some sort, and you don't kill him, at least you will be striking at the same time next turn.
