Latest update is the month of the Orc, it would seem.

Some new orcs from Ridgeback




Some new Orcish Warg Riders are under sculpt from Unreleased.



They've also shown off greens of their dwarf set and hints of a some kind of troll (half-troll?).




Somebody also pointed out this 'Weathertop' piece from Zieterdes for me.

Ooh, Dwarf Command set with bagpipes... Very nice. Probably still a bit too expensive for me, but they're looking like very nice figures. From the face and weapon, I'd guess that 'troll' is meant to be one of the Ogres from Battle of the Five Armies, the one that Bard rams with a cart or later shoots when it's about to kill Alfrid.

Their first release is two Sons of Eorl (sorry, 'Sons of Legend') on foot for the exceptionally good value sum of £6 for a pack including both. Slated for release on the 24th February this year.



Meanwhile, Unreleased Miniatures has shown metals of two ogres and a new Orc Captain, Ft & Mounted shown.

I really like that worg rider, but he seems to "melt" into his mount and looks like it would be hard to paint, for me at least.

I imagine that with a coat of primer, he'd stand out much more effectively.

Anyone know how to buy the Ridgeback Miniatures figs?

Looks like that last lot of minis Unreleased previewed are now... released! Dwarf command/spear/shield, various mounted Orc Trackers/Warg Riders, Orc Beserkers and Ogres... some conversion bits too.
