They don't make themselves very apparent. Eldar are always smoke and mirror and the New Order has a lot of operatives. Genestealers never do anything openly

IMHO, the guys who were here since the beginning, say Ezra, write some fantastic work, but they dont have a lot of time to spend writing it. When we have now 10ish writers, his contributions get thrown under the bus.

Now i Have the not even sure where i place in the crusade....

Honestly, with my roles I doubt that even the Genestealers are below me. I'm just that random guy sitting in the corner of the map crashing dirges for no apparent reason.

Well mine are not sure where to go, i had mostly a detachment fighting fog monsters, defending my fungus world, and such.

My force never has been the one guiding the crusade unlike some. i just go hunt orks, blow up too many planets and write derailing Petra shepard chunks.

I am just waiting for whoever's playing as Crusade HQ to send me orders and then I can start doing stuff (or simply have Smudge give me a mission and I can fluff the orders on my own, I can do that, too)

I am well aware that my choice of events for major defeats are very harsh, but it serves to make the victory all the sweeter. If you're always winning, there's no sense of danger or loss, which is a little contrived in my opinion. But I'm glad you've not taken them too personally

I'll try to post some kind of updated event guide here for anyone looking, just for easy reference.

Imperium has pushed into a previously lost sector of space, the Charadon sector. They were initially met along the way by Chaos, daemons, Orks and multiple other threats in the area. A Chaos related relic was discovered on a planet called Mogrok, which caused a clash between Deathwatch and Iron Warrior forces. The relic was a decoy, with the original stolen by a Chaos warband called the Remnants. The Deathwatch, bloodied and beaten, ridded the world of taint by Exterminatus.

All forces were made aware that the relic itself allowed a mythical vault on the world of Gallor Prime to be opened. The Imperium, Waaagh! Grinbad, the Remnants and Iron Warriors, and the newly arrived Eldar forces all conquered their way to Gallor Prime, and a brutal land war was waged. This conflict was culminated by the forces discovering the location of the vault in the southern pole of the planet, and racing to stop the others getting it. In the end, it came down to the Imperials against the Orks. The Imperial effort was in vain, as Grinbad opened up the vault, and plunged Gallor Prime into the warp briefly.
Grinbad's forces moved on to the Cadian sector, using their newly-gained power to krump 'eads.
However, for those not in the Waaagh!, the event lasted for days, months, even years.

The Imperial forces commanders managed to escape the nightmarish hell of Gallor Prime, all bar Commissar Gavor, who had seen enough of the long war and vanished to be with his wife, and Acting-Captain Aurelius, who was critically injured after being stranded in a tide of daemon spawn. He was saved at the last minute by the Remnants, who showed great interest in the Ultramarine, and returned him to Imperial lines.

After the battle, Gallor Prime was left desolate and the crusade moves on.

- A massive xenos Tyranid/Hybrid fleet has invaded from the north-east, claiming many worlds with ease.

- One of the generals is not content with his position, and wishes to usurp the Lord General's place, hiring assassins to kill him off, a plot foiled by Aurelius, raised from the jaws of death.

- Ultramarine and Black Templar forces have been heavily depleted by a campaign on the mysterious world of Kagrenz. Following the arrival of a massive Hybrid Fleet, the world has been abandoned and Exterminatus'd out of spite.

- Imperial forces are massing for a counter-attack against the enemies on all fronts.

- New Order forces are currently prosecuting a war against Tau on the heavily fortified world of Julla.

- A new Waaagh! is rising in the East, led by a biker boy who rides a warbike infused with the warp itself.

- The Iron Warriors were scattered to a world located in a nearby Warp Rift, which they fortified and recently solidified their hold by killing the largest prey on the world, a sea leviathan. They are masterminding an Eldar slave trade business.

- The Eldar swore to hunt down the Iron Warriors leader, and are currently trying to find a way to reach them through the unstable warp rift.

- Necron forces have awoken in the Western front, and seem intent on suicide-bombing aircraft into other armies. They are also embroiled in the cut-throat slave trade business.

- The Remnants remain as elusive as ever.

- Dark Eldar have been sighted raiding undefended vessels in the system.

- And genestealers have slipped into the underhive on Echison VII, now in jeopardy after a Death Korps raid.

I will read the last few pages to get a more exact veiw, then will begin writing the entrance of the Daw Striders, remnants of two chapters that barely survived because orks tampered with DE tech and almist destroyed both sets of geneseed, and only a massive psychic communion (and the death of 95% of the psykers present) saved them!

Welcome to the Crusade Brother! Smudge and TS put up summaries of who's who and what armies they're running over in the main thread I believe, so you can tell who's running what. I'm running Eldar, DEldar, and Marines (sorely depleted though, so they're going on the backburner for a bit)

I'm Templers, Death korps and Catchans + other assorted small units, I have a mixed task force.
