Pretty much agree with the OP. Past that I honestly cant think of anyone else I would really be against.

As for what I'd like to see?(as this thread has morphed into) Just adapt Helsreach to the big screen.

Chill, it's a joke and everyone can read your words so nobody will be mislead about what you believe in.

ideally I would want a 40k movie that is respectful to the IP, is actually good and hopefully makes money, I don't know if any of that is possible though.

I don't know. Honestly, as long as some movie is good, I couldn't care less if it is in the 40k setting or not.

Sorry, it's not always easy to tell if someone is serious or not through text alone.

No problem. For my defense, I did put an orkmoticon and I did follow with “more seriously” .

Okay, hear me out on this one. I am going 30k Horus Heresy here. Just give it a second and let it play out in your heads.

Director: Tim Burton
The Emperor: Brad Pitt
Lion: Burt Reynolds
Fulgrim: The Rock (Not Dwayne Johnson)
Perturabo: Mickey Rourke
Jaghatai Khan: Jason Mamoa
Leman Russ: Nick Offerman
Rogal Dorn: Stephen Lang
Konrad Kurze: Michael Keaton
Sanguinius: Alexander Skarsgard
Ferrus Manus: Stone Cold Steve Austin (I think we see what is happening here)
Angron: Hugh Jackman
Roboute Guilliman: Bob Saget
Mortarion: John Stamos
Magnus the Red: Mark Sheppard
Horus Lupercal: MATT DAMON
Lorgar Aurelian: Jeff Goldblum
Vulkan: Terry Crews
Corvus Corax: Danny Devito
Alpharius/Omegon: The Olsen Twins

Plot: There were female Space Marines the entire time.

Just imagine those voices the next time you read a book. Please.

Kenneth Williams would be awesome as the Immortal God-Emporer.

I don't think you need to see the Immortal God-Emperor in a 40k movie it would be wasted screen time to show a corpse who can't make any actions, he would be better referenced through dialogue or an opening crawl.

Kenneth Williams doesn't make actions, he makes snide comments in Polari, and he's dead. I think he will be great for a lot of scenes.

I believe that at one point it nearly made it into canon (as much as 1st edition 40k had one) that the Emperor had masqueraded as ...

Cliff Richard.
