Also a “trick” I used to use as a nipper. Given I was buying purely off of Pocket Money, undermanning a base gave you more units. As we played exclusively at home, it didn’t really matter.

LI? I see little harm in doing 4 Termies to a base. It’s still clear what they are, and you get an extra base per two boxes.

Four to a base looks much better honestly, the plastic ones are pretty big and that 5th middle one just makes it all feels so crowded.

Well, should be doing my own basing tomorrow. Off to another town to bother its vintage toy shop, but will be plenty of time to get my Bases painted. Nowt fancy, just a dry brush and thinned down wash for the crevices.

Then I can get all me infantry done and dusted.

Actually. Redoing my “four to a base” Terminator sums.

We don’t get 5 Termies per box. We in fact get 6, as the Thunder Hammer is extra, possibly as a Unit Command.

But across two boxes? That’s 24 Termies. Or 6 bases at 4 per.

thats using maffs that is, thats soooo unfair on those of us who have to use fingers and can't count about eleven as a result

It seems the basing issues are solved with a pile of 25mm blank discs and some blue tack.
