i like the paintjob and think its a cool concept, i just wish the wings were a bit less straight, it makes it, to me, look almost as if he has on some kind of wing backpack

I think its because his pose is more non-chalant, while the wings are stretched for action. Hard to imagine a big birdman stretching his wings out while casually strolling around.
