Heard something interesting today on Dan Patrick....

Penn State (the program that had the huge, dirty, nasty, molestation scandal) had been thumped by the NCAA pretty hard.

But now, it seems that the NCAA has relented, and is allowing them to become bowl eligible this year....*AND* restore *ALL* scholarships starting next year.

It's still early in the season, but I do have to think that the Ducks are going to be in the playoffs, and the biased fan in me says they'll win it all this year. The commentary was that Michigan State is basically a "green" version of Stanford and so we should, hopefully put that monkey off our backs. This is aided by the fact that USC just went out and beat Stanford, so it's definitely a VERY doable feat

I'm happy UH Cougars won after our embarrassing stadium opening loss. We're not amazing, but a 47-0 win against anyone isn't bad

No... The pollsters, like ESPN have a viagra fueled, raging hard-on for ANYTHING with an SEC sticker on its' helmet. So, while I'd suggest that it SHOULD drop them out of the top 25, or at the very least, towards #22-25, they probably won't fall that far.

Mizzou should NOT be in the top 25. They barely brought their "B" game.

Lol, Cincy, you and I were saying the same damn thing!! Quite honestly, I get sick and tired of hearing about the SEC EVERY FETHING DAY. Yes, we all know that the Big 10 sucks, but the PAC12 is getting more interesting by the week, and there's a ton of good games each week that involve no one from south of the Mason-Dixon line, or in THAT conference.
