This is a concept list for making my legion thousand sons work in 40k. Its heavy on forge world and uses come the apocalypse allies to represent the elements of the army which have fallen to chaos/ the flesh change and those elements remaining pure.
Primary detachment - chapter tactics red hunters (for lack of anything appropriate, iron hands is probably stronger )

2* 5 marines in rhino with lascannon
2* relic sicaran with lascannon sponsors

Allied detachment Crimson slaughter.
Chaos lord

disk of tzeentch (jet bike)
Daemon heart, slaughterers horns, sigil of corruption lightning claw and power fist
5 spawn with mark of tzeentch (gal vorbak models)
10 cultists
Allied detachment chaos daemons
Be-lakor (phosis tkar )
12 horrors with icon.
Strategy is lord and spawn rush forward with belakor swooping behind providing invisibility.
horrors and cultists try and hold an objective and summon stuff with spare charge.
Marines shoot stuff a lot. red hunters gets them one turn of skyfire.
