Hello, my name is the_scotsman, and I....I have loved Thousand Sons since I started 40k

I knew they were terrible, and other armies appealed more to me overall, and I hated how Khorne was such a default look for CSM, so I managed to stay away, but in a moment of weakness I had a really fun month kit bashing and painting up a whole bunch of different fantasy and 40k models as thousand sons equivalent units after someone gave me a free DV CSM set...and now I have some models.

1 Fantasy Sorceror model I loved, painted up as a Tson. I could use him as a Sorc or Ahriman, who I hear tell is decent now (tentative yay?)
5 Thousand Son rubrics and an aspiring Sorceror
1 DV chaos lord
1 DV Helbrute
1 Fantasy Necrosphinx I could run as a Defiler or some style of "something-fiend"
1 Daemon prince with a skull head and sphinx wings
The 20 DV cultists, who I painted to match my IG-I could use them as infantry for an Ally detachment if you think Russes and Chimera vets might improve my odds
5 Raptors made out of Sanguinary guard and TSons bits. I modeled them with a couple meltas, suspecting that a melta gun suicide squad may be the only usable option for them.

In a pinch, though they will not fit the pretty scheme, I can use a Rhino and Vindicator from my other armies. Regrettably I couldn't find a good TSons equivalent for the requisite helturkey, though he would be my next purchase if I could find a suitable eagle or something.
