Just looking at the stats Cameronians look like theyd be good against anything that doesnt have martial arts type skills cc18 ph16 and an apccw. Is there something else i should be taking into account?

My mate and main opponent mained Caledonia for ages. The trick to using Cameronians for close combat, is to know that overall CC is pretty poor (changing next edition!), and that the main reason to put them into CC is to tie up enemy units.

Without MA3, even with CC18 its virtually a coin toss as to who hits who. Would you rather spend an order on a coin toss for a single DAM 16 hit, or on B2 templates, or on B4 HMG from some other troop - heck, even B3 Combi Rifle from some line grunt

McMurrough on the other hand, thats a Cameronian that can beat face.
