I'm trying to make a friendly list that i can take to pick-up games, I have taken 2 wave sepents but only because i have no other troops and i need to transport them. please tell me your thoughts.

- warp spiders, exarch w spinneret rifle & fast shot
- shadow spectres, exarch w prism blaster

I'm including the wriathknight because I've put a lot of time into painting, modelling and converting pieces for him.

It depends on the skill level of whoever your playing. Some people don't know how to take out wave serpents(granted it is tough). Otherwise it looks like a pretty friendly list

So what should I do instead?

It looks fine. Two Wave Serpents should be fine (you're going to want to take some Wave Serpents, even in a friendly game) - it's the spamming of them that irritates people.

If it is for a pick up game I would probably keep the main codex and then have a second forgeworld list. Some people may not like the FW troops other would be interested to have a chance to play them.

Overall the list looks about right.
