So I'm fairly new to playing Retribution and only recently starting looking for list suggestions and synergies with casters and such. I've decided to use Retribution for a Journeyman League starting in January and I'm trying to figure out if 35 pt lists I make would be worth getting everything for before I start throwing money at things. As such this is a try at making a decent list with Dawnlord Vyros that could take advantage of his feat and generally be an all around scenario list that might be a bit better against Hordes (as the Kaelyssa list I'm making will take out Warmachine lists).



Vyros (+6)
-Manticore 8
-Phoenix 10

Houseguard Halberdiers w/UA 9

MHSF w/UA 10

Ghost Sniper 2
Houseguard Thane 2


Pretty basic strategy I think. Vyros and battlegroup advance up the middle to wipe up infantry. Halberds hold the objective with the Thane boosting their speed or letting them hit stealth. The MHSF would generally harass wherever they could but trying to angle for Caster/Lock targeting when possible. The Sniper would help take down the odd weakened Warbeast or Solo as needed.

So any thoughts or suggestions on the strategy and composition to this army?
