hey guys ive recently started a mousillon bretonnia army, and basically there is a 2500 pt tournament in the middle of febuary. so here is my question, does this list sound viable and should anything be changed. oh and by the way we are allowed storm of magic monsters in the list. so here it is,

lord,barded warhorse, shield, sword of anti-heroes, virtue of heroism, gromril greathelm and the mantle of damsel elara.
prophetess,lvl4 lore of heavens, silver mirror, barded warhorse, ruby goblet.
paladin bsb, enchanted shield dawnstone, sword of might, virtue of noble disdain, barded warhorse
damsel,lvl1 beasts, dispel scroll

48x men at arms, full command
12 knights of the realm standard of dicipline, full command
12xknights of the realm, banner of chalons, full command

10x archers with braziers
10xarchers with braziers
10xarchers with braziers

3 pegasus knights

trebuchet
trebuchet

storm of magic giant
that leaves me with 15 pts spare

please all tactics advice and criticisms are more than welcome

I would drop the giant and get more paladins, take advantage of that 50% lords and heroes slots now. I really think that helps brets alot.
Character walls on kotr realm units suddenly got easier.

i thought about the sword of swift slaying but thought that all the extra attacks from the sword of antiheroes would work better as i know there are gonna be deathstar units. i know for sure there is a gutstar so. i just thought that having extra heroic killing blow attacks would work. also i was thinking about a hydra for the som monster. jjust cu of the 7 auto hitting strength 5 hits so. more shooting to my list. i do however like the idea of character walls on the knights units. more high strength attacks on the charge

You're relying on the sixes anyway. So you might need to get more hits. Either the heartwood lance or the ASF sword.

The Sword of Antiheroes build doesn't take the virtue of Heroism. And he only goes in the double lord list.

The ASF sword build is more flexible. You want him HKBing steam tanks, K'daii destroyers, chimeras, etc. as well, and you don't get that with a Sword of Antiheroes build. Virtue of Heroism, Sword of Swift Slaying, Gromril Great Helm, and Potion of Speed / Dragonbane Gem (first tailors vs. nurgle demon princes, second against K'daii destroyers).

Also note that virtues count against your magic item allotment. The build on your Paladin is also illegal since in the Bret book the enchanted shield costs 5 points. If your meta doesn't FAQ the Brets otherwise then give him the charmed shield (since he can't take a mundane shield, per the Bret book trumping BRB).


As for the list generally, I'd rather have more knights generally than a giant / M@A. Errants with the errantry banner will do better for you than a big brick of M@A who just bleed combat res without a Damsel with the icon. A small-ish unit of 9 or so Grail knights with the flaming standard is also a great tool for taking down big regen bricks since they hit before your other knights. They're also a fantastic tool for tarpitting demon princes since each one can issue/accept challences and the unit will be steadfast all day as the prince punks them one at a time.

Finally I'd give the prophetess the Crown of Command over a ruby goblet, then put her in the unit with the BSB since if he breaks he dies. I play against Brets a lot and I've seen the CoC do miles more good than the Ruby Goblet ever did.
