I'm bored. Like, really bored. In a few months I'll buy more things, but in the mean time, what can I do? I want to have a fun 40k-related project. Give me some ideas. I've already made Objective Markers and Terrain pieces, what else is there?

I was going to suggest terrain as it's something a lot of people don't really get involved in and it can be very rewarding

Fortifications? A Skyshield landing platform or even a basic bunker can be made from found materials and/or cheap craft store supplies. Scour your bitz box and build a single character model that you might have never considered using before but could be fun just to try out for a game or two: a SM veteran sergeant with 2 power fists or an IG officer with twin plasma pistols just for lulz.

How about making all the terrain types, so you could randomly roll for your table environment. City, Death World, Moon Scape, Alien World, etc etc, just look at all the terrain types in the book, loads to do in that aspect.

Rebase all your 28mm bases to the new shiny 32mm size
