A big group of us in my area have started a Warhammer League here and it kicks off this week. we agreed on 1500 points limit with wiggle room if both players agree on it. just wanted to run this by some of you smart folks.

Commander- Iridium Suit, Shield Gen, Puretide Chip, Cyclic Ion Blaster, Fusion Blaster
Ethereal- Shield drone

Fire Warriors x12
Fire Warriors x12

Pathfinders x6

Riptide- Ion Accelerator, Stim Injector
Crisis Team x3 Fusion Blasters
Crisis Team x3 Missiles, Shield Drone x2

Hammerhead- Longstrike, Submunition, Disruption Pods, missiles

my first match is against another tau army

and there will be no flying units this match but if in the future i do play against flying units where should i put the Velocity Tracker? i was thinking the Broadsides

Rail rifles???? Why have one strength 8 when you can have four strength 7????

I'm not sure if the ethereal is going to be worth his points here, I assume he's the LD buff for the fire warrior squads but if they intend to sitback the Fireblade might see more use with his extra shot for the team.

The crisis team with the fusions might want target locks, assuming the commander sits with him you will very rarely need to put 7 melta shots into anything short of a knight (assuming by fusionblaster you mean each crisis suit has 2)
