Did, but there is no chance in hell that GW is going to adress this survey and do something about it...

Just an FYI: your survey (or maybe it's SurveyMonkey) apparently doesn't like Safari on Mac. Wouldn't let me enter a qualifying answer to an 'other' response.

Done. by the way I thought your options for monthly spend were a bit on the high side. I can't imagine a lot of people will consistently spend more than $100pm, let alone $500+. Did you mean yearly rather than monthly or did I misread the question

I filled it out.

Good idea to take a survey, but I think it could be a little more in depth.

But for all you brevity lovers out there, just take 2 minutes and take the survey. It's literally like 6 questions!

Maybe if we all fill it out and send it to GW we can at least get a raised eyebrow!

I'm trying to work up a business model for GW that will show putting the customer first will actually increase sales and increase positive opinions of their company.

If anyone visits other forums it would be super helpful for you to link the survey there as well!

Half of my gaming group picks up at least 1 item a week. Even if that is something small, were talking $29-33 USD, so about $120+ a month on the low side.

Between the Codexes and Campaign books, it's easy to spend $100+ a month on rule books alone.

What is this survey supposed to accomplish?

The questions are about as deep as "would you like free stuff?" and "do you like puppies?", and twice as leading. It looks like you're fishing to attach a number to opinions you already hold, rather than doing actual research.

Which, you know, is sort of the point of surveys.

I buy a squad a month at best, a few paints here and there. I do think a lower option of like $1-$50 would be nice.

Your last question is worded poorly, if GW released a new version of a game someone currently plays but has left will they come back? If they currently play they therefore cannot have left in order to come back.

WHat's your post supposed to accomplish.. actually no, let's not go down that rabbit hole.

The survey was fine, brevity is generally is the key to getting a good amount of data. I do agree the price stuff could be fleshed out more, I answered that I pretty much just buy paint, and tha's not a monthly thing. The question would be better if it iwas "how often do you buy gw products?" And then a range of expenditure, 0-50 makes sense from gw's perspective (pretty sure they drill people to have average sales around 50) but in reality, at least my reality, I spend like 15-20$ every few months on paint. Might be worth asking how long we've been playing too, gw's not exactly wrong to think newer players are more likely to purchase than people who've got enough models to fill multiple shelves (not the vets don't spend money mind you, I guess I'm just the rare one that has spent less and less over the years.)

I think he said just money spent on models and actually stated not including paints, books, etc. Hence anyone spending more than $100pm every month on just models might be -

1. New to hobby or starting a 2nd,3rd,nth army so buying lots of new toys quickly but unlikely to continue this in the long term
2. Buying lots of forgeworld items
3. Someone with the kind of disposable income to spend on gaming that I'd like to have
4. A bit crazy / addicted to GW?

Yes I've probably spent $100 in a month once or twice (Wraightknight + Wraightguard + Wave Serpents will do that easily) but I've then not bought anything new for the next 6 months until the wife has forgotten about the last round of purchases
