Hi all! I'm overlord thraka, you may have met, you may have not.

Let's get right to it. I love Scratchbuilding (even though I'm not great at it) Converting, and Kitbashing.

Recently I discovered Ouze's thread on building a Kustom Battle Fortress and thought I'd give it a go. The project soon spiraled out of control and became a monstrosity like no other. I thought I'l continue where I left of and put it on dakka as I work on completing this beastly creation of Orkyness

I had first though on putting that little part with the hole in it on the front as the commmand bridge, But it was to small and popped on the side as you see here





The front of the beast, containing 3 Killkannons as for now. I might upgrade to something bigger if I can find it

Wow, that's basically a mobile bunker. Count me as interested!

I started doing some riveting



Roughed up the railing on the top of the kannon point


Close up on the stairs


Found a spare Battlewagon turrret and popped that on


Began work on some oversized big shootas to make into flakka guns


Found these missiles from a old Helicopter kit. What should I do with em?

So as promised. Here is how I did the treads. All credit for the idea goes to Desubot. Big thanks to him!

But the idea is the same Take sprue glue em together so that the top is flat, sand it down (i like using a flat sheet of sandpaper on a flat surface then with almost no pressure move the piece in circles till its flat.)
You can add whatever kind of treads on top of it you want and drill out the links so you can put two together with a pin.
