My current ork list I run a truck spam list. Two trucks with tank bustas one manz missle and a few trucks with boys with a PK (up to four right now). I also have a squad of 10 bikes with a boss with DSL and a pain boy. I want to protect my trucks so they can better do their job of making it to turn two and get my boys across the board. I was thinking of a few options.

One would be a big mek with a KFF on a bike. I was thinking that I would not attach him and just have him protect a couple of trucks and then use those trucks as cover for the other trucks.

The other would be putting evey amour on my boys. I have a bit of a problem with this option because it makes a standard boy so much more expensive. And the tank busters can’t take this option.

The third is just taking another truck full of boys, and see how many they can take out before I am in their face. With the new damage table they do seem to survive pretty well. But I have only played them against SM and AM. So I am sure there are list that could tear this up in one turn.

Ha! Darn my dyslexia...

I agree I think not spending the extra points and just hugging terrain and putting more targets on the field may work best. i just worry about losing units. but it is orks.
