After a successful (if delayed) kickstarter Arena Rex has opened their webstore

http://arenarex.com/collections/all

As yet you can't pick up the KS minis (some people are still waiting for them to be delivered as the sculptor of 4 of them is not yet finished)

they said
We do not intend to limit production artificially. For now, there are limited selections and inventory available for the following reasons:

We want to make sure the web store is running smoothly before we open up our full line.
We want to ship Wave 2 of our Kickstarter orders before offering the Kickstarter miniatures to a wider audience.
We're excited about the new minis and want to share them despite other delays.

however you can get

Acerbus

Stheno

Sulla

plus the rule book and custom dice

I've got a lot of the KS minis and can say they are very well cast in nice resin and the art cards are great too, so if you like boutique resin they are certainly worth a look

I really like that they put the Stats cards up so you try before you buy.

Stheno looks good but $30 puts her just over my impulse buy threshold so it's a wait and see.

Acerbus can be proxied for a fraction of the $40 cost.

All nice minis though and good to see them expanding beyond the KS bodes well for the future of the game.

I love that rhino! Have been waiting for them to put the bull up for sale, and then I'm definitely springing for placing an order.

Yeah, I couldn't help myself and went on a little impulsive shopping spree for one rhino and one Roman badass.

What's the situation on the bull? Is it still stuck in MIKH-land, or is it actually completely done? I know I've seen images that look pretty complete (and he looks amazing), but I'm not sure if there's still something to do.

You should have told me you were shopping Trodax, so we could make one together to save on the shipping.

The sculpt from Patrick Masson, in particular, is awesome. Although I really like the others too, but a bit too expensive for me at this moment.

it's in today's update

Speaking of, MIKH is cutting the last pieces of Septimus and Nero as we speak. He simply needs to finish the joins and mail the pieces to us for prototype and production. It seems like they should be in the mail soon. We fervently hope so. Thanks to everyone for your enduring patience.

So another 6 months then (I'm only half joking)

Septimus foot and mounted are on my list of things to get.

Alright cool, I must have missed that. I want that bull too.

Ouch, pricey. What scale are these?

Since Septimius on foot is cut

I hope that statement means Septimus & Nero are cut and in the post to RRG

(and that if he hasn't finished Hroka etc he's going to send what he's done so far to RRG so somebody else can complete them, although I fear he may be officially putting them off while he does even more work for other people, he's certainly been doing enough)

Scale is 32mm range. I'll try to take a pic of one with the usual suspects tonight.

I think its interesting to note that the Stheno is on a 50mm base. So, she looks to be about 60-70mm to the eye.

Prices are on par with boutique type minis. The sculpts are quality and the resin is nice. I'm not saying I'm going to get the whole range, but I don't hate the pricing. Besides, you can easily play with as few as three per side.

I actually believe that it's 35 mm scale.

Ah, yes, that might actually not have been a bad idea! As I said, my shopping today was extremely impulsive, but maybe next time we could coordinate? I only got six minis from the Arena Rex KS, which I have in hand (they're very nice), and there are a couple more I'd really like to get at some point. I also have another Swedish friend who I know is jonesing pretty bad for that lion. The question is when they will put the KS stuff that is finished up in the webshop.

Well, I am still waiting for my KS stuff. For some reason certain miniatures I pledged for are delayed. So I am just sitting here rolling my thumbs.

But I've started collecting Patrick Masson resin miniatures, so I need to get hold of this one at one point or another.

they've said they won't put KS stuff for general sale until all backers have theirs - some people opted to wait for the MIKH sculpts and not split shipping so haven't got anything yet and won't until everything is ready. While Septimus and Nero are nearing the production stage Hroka is still some way off finishing only her horse has been seen to date.

OK. Since I got what I pledged for months ago I haven't really been following the discussion that closely, I thought they were still debating putting stuff up for sale even though people are still waiting. Must be a tough situation for the Arena Rex guys, it could be another two months until they can sell all the stuff they have produced. Or it could be another two years.

I wish they'd just do a poll of backers. I'd be plenty fine okaying them selling everything.

They can't wait on MIKH forever....

Oh man, I really hope they're planning to open the webstore after shipping out Wave 2 (once they get Septimus and Nero) since that's basically everything but Hroka. Honestly, if I were them, I would consider asking backers who chose Hroka to allow them to swap in a few other models so that they can finish fulfillment (I think most would say yes). But regardless, they really need to start selling models once they send out the second wave, they can't wait on Mikh forever!

Yep, I really hope they start selling this stuff once they have Septimus and Nero done. Going bankrupt while waiting for Mikh to finish Hroka isn't doing anyone any favors. Haven't they already started allow backers to swap out their Mikh pieces? I thought I saw someone saying that's what they were going to do.

they've always been happy to do so (and to allow you to pay for split shipping)

but I'm sure there are a fair number of people who want the MIKH minis but aren't prepared to pay extra shipping

but I do think it's time for them to specifically contact everybody with outstanding pledge on order to explore options, as you say no point in them failing because of this
