Are there any build guides for D&D Attack Wing? I have done some searching but had no luck. I have took part in two small tournaments, one being 4 players and one 10, and took 1st and 4th place respectably. Now that the weather is warming up and the roads are clear I think we will have larger groups showing up and want to stay competitive. Any help would be great, thanks.

None specifically that I'm aware of.
Well done on the results!
I've played a few games now and have opinions to offer, but they're only opinions.
a) Armour - it's really, really good, except when it isn't. By which I mean, units with 2+ armour are nigh impossible to hurt except by concentrating massive attacks on them, or by hitting them with something which ignores armour. The named Dwarven Ballista, Calamity, is borderline broken because you cannot punch through its armour with anything but critical hits.
b) Dragon-on-dragon fights tend to come down to breath weapons as a result. The Red, Silver and White dragons are the only ones I'd seriously consider arming purely for melee.
c) Try to bear in mind energy types. You get a free point of defence against a matching energy type, so there is some logic to exploiting this in list building - three red dragons, for example, can afford to catch one another in their unwieldy cone flame breaths if you're lucky, or to be hit by a fireball. The counter-argument is that Protection From Energy is a big deal to a single-type squad; if you're making a squad with only a single energy type unit, make sure your primary weapons are up to scratch.
d) So far, the Good Guys have an advantage in mutual support. Vakka (the named Silver) grants free actions to nearby friends, whilst Pacatus (the named Gold) can use that free action to trigger his special ability to heal damage on himself or Vakka. Also, whilst they pay for it, metallic dragons tend to be slightly better than the closest equivalent chromatic, ususally with an extra point of health
e) Troops are easy to kill but hard to wipe out. Make sure at least one unit has either multiple primary attacks (close quarters or similar) or an area effect attack, or you'll be there all damn day.
f) Charge actions are actually better on lower level dragons - you can start out of range (so your opponent can't attack you) then dart into range and stab them when it's you're go.

Thanks for the tips. I used Balagos and Blackthorn in the last tournement. Blackthorn was a disapointment untill the last gane when he killed the named half-dragon in turn 2 and the named druid in turn three. Balagos killed the unnamed blue in turn one with a lucky 3 hit 2 crit roll. I also switched out his fire breath for the flame breath from the brass dragon. I will look into the ballista this weekend.
