I'm playing around with a few builds with different codices to "Count As" a Genestealer Cult. This is the first.
I'm definitely interested in hearing from more experienced AstraMil and =I= players on ideas and tweaks, but this is the basic idea of what I'm looking for. The idea here is that the cult's grown so old that they have attracted a nearby hive mind. Some Tyranid models will be used to represent certain units (as described below)

Astra Militarum:

Commissar Yarrick (Counts as Genestealer Patriarch)

2x:

10 Veterans in carapace armor with 2x Meltagun (Counts as Brood Brothers)
one is Vet Sgt with P. Axe (Hybrid - Axe represents claws)
Taurox with TL autocannon (Cult Limousine, of course!)

2x:

10 Veterans in carapace armor with 3x Sniper Rifle (Counts as Brood Brothers)
one is Vet Sgt... basically naked
Heavy Weapons Team (Lascannon)

1x Russ Squadron:

3x Leman Russ Battle Tanks:
Battle Cannon, Lascannon & Heavy Flamers
(Basically, these represent armor that was stolen / repurposed by the cult)

1x Hellhound Squadron:

2x Bane Wolf
Hvy Flamer & Chem Cannon. Camo netting
(More armor that was stolen / repurposed by the cult - maybe the chemicals are some sort of Genestealer toxin)

Inquisitorial Detachment (just counts as more Cult):

Inquisitor Coteaz (Counts as Magus)

1x Inq. Henchmen:

3x Acolytes. Power Armor, Meltagun & Power Sword (3 hard core hybrids set to rush the enemy with the 2 units in Tauroxen above)
Chimera
-H. Bolter, Multilaser

1x Inq. Henchmen:

2x "naked" acolytes (Brood Brother bodyguards)
1x Psyker (I will likely use a Zoanthrope model)
Valkyrie (Multilaser, 2x Hellstrike, Ex Armor). While this is technically a transport, the real reason I have it is so that I can field a Tyranid flier, like a Harpy or Hive Crone as a proxy/"counts as" and it's cheaper than buying it from the AstraMil codex.

1x Inq. Henchmen:

2x "naked" acolytes (Brood Brother bodyguards)
