I've never been huge on fielding small bands of warriors and giving each one a trukk. One of the reasons I chose Orks was I was a huge fan of the Green Horde and mob army, and it's worked well for me in the past.

26x Boyz- 'eavy armour, choppa, slugga, 1x rokkit launcha = 265 pts

11x Boyz- 'eavy armour, choppa, slugga, 1x rokkit launcha = 115 pts

11x Boyz- 'eavy armour, shoota = 121 pts

Fast Attack
Burna-Bommer- red paint job, 6 scorcha missiles =180 pts

Heavy support
Battlewagon-Kannon, big shoota, 'ard case, grabbin klaw, red paint job, reinforced ram = 155
Not point relevant but I used a small recording/playback device and installed it in the rear and it plays Brickhouse by Lionel Richie.

Big blobs. Make them 30 if they slog. Maximizes Mob Rule. Dont give big blobs 'eavy armor. They're gonna get trashed by templates anyway. You need bodies. Save that for a unit of trukk boys or mounted nobs.

Dont give slogging units gun upgrades like big shootas or rokkits. You want them running and/or assaulting, not wasing time with one shot at bs2.

Now, I dont know how well its worked for you, but I';ve never done well walking nobs up the board. Generally, people pick them off.

For your warboss: he should definitely carry DLS, its too good to pass up, especially if hes slogging with a big mob of boys.

Have you looked at the green tide formation? Might be exactly what you're looking for, really.

Hmmm. . . Do you have anything you can use as Battlewagons? Battlewagon boys do pretty well, all things considered. Sure, the transport is pricey. But its pretty tough, and carries 20. Slap a painboy in there, and all of a sudden you're got a durable, nasty unit.

Can old Looted wagons be turned into battlewagons? I didn't see them in the new codex and I've been out of the game for a while.

Looted wagons were released in a WD thing. They got better. And for the most part, for an ork player any vehicle can be a BW. People at big tourneys might look sideways at you, but for local play its whatever you want. Because ORK

Some general advices on your list:
- 'eavy armor for sloggas is generally not worth it

- You absolutely need a Painboss

- Equip a relic. DLS is amazing if you get into mellee. Has proven to be the one of the best artifacts ever. Another one worth mentioning is Da Finking Kap.

- Make at least one centerpiece squad or 30 boyz with pk Nob + Warboss + Painboss + probably a slotless mek. I prefer this squad to be choppas without special weapons as they tend to run and get engaged in mellee more often than not.

- Other squads can work in smaller numbers. I prefer ~20 strong shootas + bp Nob - often with pk - pk is advisable but not mandatory for all the squads. Special weapons can be used effectively in here. I prefer rokkit launchas for utility.

- I'd advocate against burna bomber. You'll end up with lobbas or kmk sooner or later anywayz If you allready have a plane, i'd make it Blitza Bomber. s7 ap2 armorbane large blast that is a Bomb is decent. Since it's a bomb, it can be dropped while jinking and target invisible units. More useful than s5 ap4 bombz in general. And is cheaper cause you don't need to purchase missiles to be effective

- Drop RPJ. It's useless. If you want to field a wagon - don't overinvest in it. Generally you're looking for just a ram. Can add boarding plank and one rokkit/shoota if you feel fancy. Other upgrades are a waste, unfortunately. You could probably utilise Killkannon but it distracts you from the main purpose of the wagon - troop delivery. Can be still used to great effect within blitz brigade but you ain't going for it with snakebites, i guess.

- Consider mek gunz. They're very effective and fluffy - especially for a snakebite-themed army. They're famous for their grot herding and artillery corps. Even though, original artillery pieces cost enormous ammount of money, take note that they're basically just orkified guns.
Historical models + Orkify = 5-10 times less money spent than buying original guns. You still need artillery grots though, but you'll figure something out.
And what's even better, artillery + footslogging boyz work!

Thanks I was planning on getting a Painboss and the relic (the WS boost one). As for artillery, I'm not a big fan, but it sounds like I should get some to help out. Also I'm dropping the 'eavy armour and maxing out the squads (right now I don't have the models). As for the Burna-bommer it's already assembled that way, and the other ones are already RPJ. Plus it may be useless but I usually take it because it's freaking hilarious.
