I got a Problem.
Started to Build a small blood angels Force, Never expected to use them in a battle but After my Last game against the sons of sanguinius i liked them alot.
Problem... I Build the Models all and from a modelling view invested alot of Time in painting them so ripping apart is Not an Option.
I got so far

Sanguinary guard 5 x sword 3 axes 2 fists1 banner,2 infernopistols,1 plasma
20 assault marines 4 with meltagun 2 with infernopistols
30 tacs 2 heavy flamers 2 flamers 3 sarges with kombiflamer ( those are magnetized).
5 vanguards 4 with twin Lightning claws 1 with relic blade
2 stormtalons
1 landraider redemer

Any possibilities to use those armie and how?

I don't play BA but i have a long history playing AGAINST them and I feel you are in a fine position to field your minis.

I personally think that Vanguards are best used one of two ways:

1) Multi-assulting out of a land raider

2) With jump packs, storm shield X 4, and meltabombs.

Maybe add some ablative wounds to your Vanguards?

With two storm talons all you need is 1 raven and you have a formation. so you can run it with your regular BA cad if unbound is not an option.

The triple mega flamer tac squads could be nice with drop pods if anything.

Looks like you have a very solid core there. Don't know how optimised you want to go, but for casual games oputside of GTs, most of that is very usable.

Both the all-flamer Tacticals and the all-Melta ASM are very useful and reliable units to build around, offering anti-infantry and anti-tank firepower respectively. Maybe look at getting the Tacs Pods or Rhinos if you can do so, either will make them a lotmore useful given their short range on the flamers.

The SangGuard are a nice deathstar if you are into that kind of thing, but personally I'd run them as 2 squads rather than 1, it just gives you more options in-game. They make a great bodyguard and spearhead unit.

The LRR would be best served by a cargo of on-foot ASM with a Priest, Death Company or some TH/SS Termies. Tactically, it's as simple as driving it towards the enemy and unloading the cargo before using PotMS to hit two targets with the flamers.

The Stormtalons are not in the codex as mentioned, but (assuing you don't want to go Unbound) adding an allied Librarian and Scout Squad from C:SM will unlock one. Or, if you fancy a Stormraven as well, add a Stormwing Formation and get some bonuses free!


The only hard-to-use unit I see there is the Vanguard; in my mind they have way too much equipment to be effective. However, you could easily use one as a Captain and throw him in with the AM for more CC power.

2x Tacticals
- 10x models, Combiflamer, Flamer, Heavy Flamer
- Drop Pod
2x Assault Marine Squads
- 5x models, Inferno Pistol, 2x Meltaguns
- Drop Pod is best but Jump Packs aren't the worst thing in the world when you're forced to use them. Just be careful on the Deep Strike.
Vanguard Veteran Squad
- 10x models, really should rip them apart but if you refuse then just add some spare ASM to the front line for protection.
Sanguinary Guard
- just don't use the models with the special pistols. Not worth the points. The Angelus Boltgun is amazing as it is and the melee weapons are either Specialist or Two Handed anyway.

That one Formation that uses Stormtalons and a Stormraven. Add in whatever unit you like into the Raven, like Sternguard, and you have even more reason to take it.

I'd go with a Sanguinary Priest as your HQ. Slap on a Jump Pack, Valour's Edge and in he goes with the Sanguinary Guard. The Vanguard, if they don't have packs, can also benefit from one when they come out of the Land Raider.

That Storm Wing formation is so cool! OP, DO IT!

To add to that get some homing bacons on the drop pods or even the raven for pin point deeps with jump pack marines.
Bonus for not having to model anything to them.
