---Battle Recap---
He was Marines, I was Guard.
We set a limit of 4 turns. Points are only counted at the end of Turn 4.
There were five objectives on the table, each worth three points. He placed the first objective and deployed first, so he deployed on two objectives, I deployed on one. The final two were on the midline of the table between deployment lines, one left of vertical center line, one right.

Marine player went first. I chose not to attempt to Seize the Initiative, because I wanted that all-important final push.

Points listed are for reference only, the only scores that mattered were at the end of Turn 4.
(Only actions that resulted in scoring points are described.)

Turn 1
Marine player scores one point for First Blood by destroying a Taurox, causing the Veterans inside to break off the table edge.
Marines: 7 points, Guard: 3 points

Turn 2
Positioning on both sides. No objectives claimed this turn.
Marines: 7 points, Guard: 3 points

Turn 3
My Scout Sentinel and Wyvern worked together to take out the Tac Squad that was harassing the Sentinel behind enemy lines, securing me one point for Linebreaker.
Marines: 7 points, Guard: 4 points

Turn 4
Marine player moves Scouts out of hiding to claim an Objective. Marine player runs Terminators to claim an objective.
Current points: Marines: 13 points, Guard; 4 points. Marine player thinks he has it clinched.
Guard Movement Phase:
My Conscripts (with a Commissar) shift off of the objective they've been holding all game and towards the Scout's objective. The Company Command Squad moves over to take that now empty objective from the Conscripts. Infantry Squad A, now down to four members, moves towards the objective being held by the Terminators. Since the Squad is Troops, they outrank the Terminators for holding objectives. Current points: Marines: 7, Guard: 7.
Guard Shooting Phase:
Due to positioning, the Marine player only has two Scouts within three inches of the contested objective. Command Squad orders FRF!,SRF! on the Conscripts. They get to roll something like 45 hits. They have a mediocre roll, but end up causing at least 2 wounds, securing that objective for the Guard.

Ending Score:
Marines: 7 points.
Guard: 10 points.
