Nothing revelatory, but a nice little article in Paste magazine about the demise of Ye Olde Worlde.

http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2015/04/warhammer-this-is-the-way-the-world-ends.html

Only weakness (and it is a big one) is that the author implicitly equates the state of Warhammer Fantasy with the state of GW. I don't think that he's wrong about much with WFB, and I don't think that he's wrong about much with GW, but he leaves out almost entirely WFB's bigger, more successful sibling, which I think is the most confusing part of the story.

For example, if GW just decided to kill off a long-standing Fantasy IP and roll out some new one, that would be one thing. But to do so while simultaneously exploring and developing previously untapped parts of another IP (see Codex Skitarii) just seems schizophrenic.

It's the trade magazine for the wallpaper industry

It's a magazine that reviews stuff - films, books DVDs etc

I like how Alessio Cavatore's name links to the Mantic website.

It's little better than one of the nerd rants you see on here from time to time. I honestly thought Paste was a little better than that.

It's quite a good article in my opinion. A lot of truths about GW and it's approach to their products, particularly since going public.

Going public kills so many companies. GW needs reanimating if that article is to be believed.
