**Edit**
I have decided to just convert this post into a thread for all of my campaign reports here on Dakka. I will just update this first post with links to each report, but still post a comment on each battle in the thread as well.

Here they are so far:

Surprise Attack! at Stigmata:
Hi all,

I'm currently in a campaign that incorporates both Battlefleet Gothic and 40K, and I had my first BFG engagements last week. I wrote up a report for the campaign group and figured I would share it here as well.

http://thesteeldawn.blogspot.com/2015/05/hyperion-conflagration-bfg-report.html

I didn't add my fleet list to the report to ensure that no one else in the campaign knew exactly the size of my fleet, but I'll add it here for you all:

Eternity of Pain - Desolation Class Battleship
Heartless Destroyer - Styx Class Heavy Crusier
Anarchic Vendetta - Carnage Class Cruiser
Heathen Promise - Slaughter Class Cruiser
Fearmongers - Iconoclast Escort Squadron x6

As a special campaign bonus I had a "Legendary Captain" on the Heathen promise who got a free random order every turn I could use if I wanted, unfortunately he didn't last long and the free orders were useless. Looking it over now I probably out numbered the imperials by ~100-150 points after upgrades and lords, etc.

Thanks for the comment Jae, it's nice to know someone is reading these. Any C&C is welcome.

The Retaking of Luoyang:

Last week an Ork fleet launched a surprise raid on the Chaos controlled system of Luoyang. While there was a Chaos fleet there to defend, it was much smaller than the Ork fleet (1,000 points vs ~1,850 points), though we did do a good bit of damage to them. Little did the Orks know that Chaos reinforcements were already on their way in the form of an advance fleet retreating to Luoyang and a freshly built fleet coming in from the Chaos deployment zone.

I am getting a little concerned with the campaign since it looks like with the way it's set up almost every single battle that is fought will be uneven, usually by a large margin. While I am up for uneven games, I would prefer them to be the exception rather than the norm.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Two in one day you ask?!

Yes I say! The second battle I had over the weekend was a three way between Space Marines(~1,850), Eldar (~2,000) and my smaller Chaos fleet(~1,200). I went into it thinking it would be an even-ish match of Eldar vs Imperial with my Chaos forces popping in to cause destruction and mayhem around the board. Alas, it turned out to be another heavily lopsided battle.

It did give me a chance to test out the Excellent Pilots upgrade my Styx cruiser gained. Excellent Pilots gives fighters a 4+ save and bombers a reroll on their bombing run, and I must say it seems pretty good.

Another battle for the annals of the Hyperion Conflagration, this time against the Eldar menace alone:
http://thesteeldawn.blogspot.com/2015/05/fleet-engagement-at-charons-harbor.html

It looks to have been almost even-ish, something like 3,000 points of Chaos vs. 2,600-2,800 points of Eldar. We had to cut it a bit short as the store was closing on us, but it was more or less over by that point anyway.

Low orbit basically is the wild west in this campaign as no one uses the separate low orbit table, and just kind of wings rules for coming out of low orbit that usually provide a huge boost in speed/maneuverability. Not to mention the fact that ships are almost untouchable while in low orbit as well. Anyone know of a good (or even okay) set abbreviated low orbit rules?

No one has any good abbreviated low orbit rules, eh?

This week we have a short one against the Eldar. Again it's a bit lopsided (not that it mattered), but with a sorta hilarious end.

Since this went so quick we actually managed to play a casual game of 40k after. His SW+IG with 5(!) flyers in 1500pts vs my CSM with no AA and very little shooting in general. Luckily it's pretty easy to get maelstrom objectives when the other army isn't on the ground to contest you, I even managed to get Domination for the first time ever with my CSM! And apparently 3x Obliterators are the only shooting my army actually needs as they managed to explode every flyer they even looked at.
