Here's what I'm seeing. I know the blood throne isn't a herald, however, the bloodthrone DOES have its own profile for the Herald it has riding it. The only restriction I know of, is that a herald/ lord, cannot take a juggernaught if it in terminator armor.

So I guess the end question is, "Can the Herald on a Blood Throne take a juggernaught?"

What options does a Blood Throne have listed on its datasheet? Remember you're not using the Herald datasheet to purchase the unit, you're using the Blood Throne datasheet.

No it can't/ The blood throne is a separate and distinct unit to a herald and only a herald and chaos lord have permission to purchase a juggernaut

Well, the options to take are from the same things a normal herald of khorne can take. The only restrictions I can see is that a blood throne isn't a herald of khorne, however it does have a herald of khorne as it's rider. Is that what you were asking?

I know its a crazy question in even bringing it up, but in my CSM Dex there was a mutual exclusivity to things that change unit types. Where it specifically stated you couldn't take something like a jetpack on a model in terminator armor. Or a bike and a juggernaught. However this Dex has no such entry. (That I can find)

But I'm getting ahead of myself on this lol the real reason I'm even asking is if its possible, it would increase the toughness of the herald. Which is HUGE since the controller of the chariot gets to direct the hits made against it. Increasing the heralds T to 5 wound mean he would be able to eat lascannon fire and if he fails his invuln save, he doesn't get ID

Again, you're purchasing a Blood Throne using the Blood Throne datasheet. Does the Gifts of Khorne say that a Juggernaut can be taken by a Blood Throne?

OK I see where you're coming from lol I knew it was a long shot. Blood Throne may have a herald of khorne riding it, but because it isn't a herald on its own it can't take it.
