I am creating a Vostroyan army and instead of trying to painstakingly convert with extra models from the limited range, I have learned to fashion traditional Vostroyan fuzzhats from Greenstuff. It's easy, and quite fun.

So far I have created a tank commander and one of those little bald headed psyker dudes and they look positively fabulous (I gave the psyker an extra large one to make it look like he was stooping under the weight of the hat)

Now, assuming that I can also accomplish my goal of learning how to mustache people, what are the best units from the IG range/best units you would proxy into the IG range for vostroyification? (those fantasy warrior priest models are going to make AMAZING ministorum priests)

I would look at Mad Robot miniatures for torsos, greatcoat legs, and maybe some heads to modify.
