Been wanting to use Nob Bikers for quite a while now, if only for the 5 Str 5 attacks each one gets on the charge. This is a list that probably needs improvement before I take it to a tournament but hopefully I'll have sorted out the kinks by then. It also helps that I have the majority of the models and very little (apart from the Trukks/ADL) needs buying.

Can you get Painboys in with the Nob Bikers?

They were good last edition because of durability [T5 4+ 4+ Cover, 5++ 5+++] and hidden fists. A humongous amount of that durability has been lost with no meaningful change in price

Also don't think you need five bosspoles in each unit...

If you want to cut, ard boys is the first suggestion I'd make. A 4+ save is not worth increasing their cost by 66%

Lastly, four man Nob Bikers could be a better choice. The reason for this is that when you drop from five to one and fail morale, that guy leaves the table. Four to one and your still on 25%

Have one unit of Gretchin give a cover save to the Mek Gunz through intervening models, other in reserve to do the same thing when the first unit dies, or just grab an objective.

This actually comes to 1470 so I've got a bit to give Rokkits to those Kommandos (who sit on an objective) or another Deffkopta.

I think I would give the lone meks either kustom mega blastas or rokkits so that they become another special weapon threat. I think a rokkit in the kommandos would be good as well as some grot orderlies for the painboyz.
