So, messing bout with the new Gladius Strike Force, I came up with the following list. I was wondering if it is actually as useful as it seems on paper.

Captain w/ Teeth, Artificer, Plasma Pistol, Storm Shield & Jump Pack
3x 10 LasPlas Tacticals
Assault Marines with Vet Eviscarator Sarge
Ironclad with Melta/Flamer in Locator Beacon Pod
Quad-Lascannon devs
PodGuard with 2 meltaguns
PodGuard with 2 plasma guns
Terminators with Assault Cannon & Chainfist
Knight Paladin
Vinidicare Assassin

I have not built this to be a powerhouse, so before people tell me to replace the Vindi with a Culexus and to make both Sternguard Meltacide squads, I am aware those are options, but would rather not take them.

what is the opinion on the list?

Looks like it should do OK for most play. What are you doing for the Dev squad? Chapter Tactics?

The captain seems a bit overgeared. I’d drop the plasma pistol, and grab a melta bomb. Not sure if the SS is worth the points to go from a 4++ to a 3++, but that’s mostly me being cheap.

Do the Tacs have transports? Las/plas is not a bad combo, but in general I like to mix things up, to avoid spam. YMMV

Flamers on the assualt squad? Jump Packs?

Ironclad looks fine.

By PodGuard, I assume you mean sternguard in a pod. How big? I favor full squads, especially in the 1st co formation. HFs are the only thing worth giving up the special ammo for IMHO.

When I field tac terminators, that’s how I run them. Not the most efficient thing out there, but fun and iconic.

I don’t field knights, and haven’t put my assassin on the table in a few decades, but they both should work fine.

You have no AA. That could be problematic. Overall, looks like a fun TAC list.

The AA is down to only having one talon, so would come with extra tax to squeeze in.

PodGuard are indeed drop pods of Sternguard, but only five man.

Assault squads do have packs, and the captain joins them. I didn't bother with the Meltabombs because the eviscerator should do enough damage. Storm shields have saved me a ridiculous number of times, so I'd always take one, and the plasma pistol is just because it's modelled.

Devs i completely missed, will add them in, but they're on tank hunter

Tacticals don't have transports, just combat squad into backfield middle field las plas respectively, which works ok. The fact i don't have any rhinos or razors yet it's also problematic.

I could drop the knight and the assassin to cover an ally detachment for the Raven and talon, i just think that I'll get more from them in a ground based army.

Thanks for the feedback though, i appreciate it
