Wondering what the general consensus is on double swapping wargear.
Example: A Dark Angels Company Veteran is armed with a Boltgun and Bolt Pistol. He may pick items from the Melee Weapons and/or Ranged Weapons lists. He swaps his Boltgun for a Chainsword, then swaps both his Chainsword and Bolt Pistol for two Plasma Pistols.
There are more examples of this out there. What do you guys say?
There are many examples; a basic tac sgt goes through the same thing.
Techmarines/motf. In the old dex could do it as well; exchanging their bolter for a power axe then buying a grav pistol for the axe(and one for the bolt pistol but the whole deal cost you 45 points)
This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
I buy a scorpion chainsword on my Autarch for 3 points just to swap it for a remnant of Glory without having to lose my pistol. Or replace the shuriken catapults on his jetbike. Haven't had any complaints yet.
