Quick question. I've been reading through the Rulebook and couldn't find a clarification on this, so forgive me for what may sound like a total noob question.

On pg 89 it states,"Skimmers can move over all terrain...". Now, for craters, tank traps, trenches and such it sounds like there is no movement penalty (ie. Vertical movement cost) for moving over those terrain types. How does this apply to varying levels of buildings? I ask this also as it applies to the Solitaires "Blitz" special move.

Thanks in advance for your help Dakkanites!

Dakkans... Dakkanians... ?

This line of reasoning broke 7th edition in Fantasy. The books should be as equal as possible, even a theoretical "Codex: Squirrels with Crustacean allies" should have a fair chance to beat "Codex: God".

I measure the diagonal distance. The horizontal and vertical components are 2 sides of the triangle.

You measure directly from starting to ending point. So if you were on the ground and then jumped onto the top of a building then you would be measuring diagonally.
