Has anyone else noticed that the AoS lizardmen all have the 'demon' keyword?
Is their being demons a new thing, or has this been in the fluff for a while?

well magic and daemons have always been mixed, I guess they are trying to make good guy daemons and lizard-men is best choice, considering they are literally gods of magic...

Right now I'm preferring to take the view that they aren't actually demons, the other races just view them that way because of how they... teleport onto the battlefield, and all.

But they're still just ordinary lizardmen, kicking it in their floating cities.

The fluff probably does not support my view.

I think it is so the forces of order can get in on the summoning fun. Stormcast are more akin to daemons in the fluff, being manifestations of a God's will.

They're celestial magical creatures made out of great star dragon's magicks now. They just needed a keyword for that and apparently "daemon" sounds better to them (as they already have evil daemons) than, say... "magical creature".
