I understand all daemons have a 5+ invulnerable save and that tzeentch daemons re roll saving throws of a 1. However, I was watching a Mini Wargaming Batrep and when introducing the armies it was said the Lord of change had a 4+ invulnerable save, though I cant understand why as I cant find a greater or exalted reward that improves saves by 1, or any other explanation for this? I was under the impression all tzeentch daemons had at least 4+ invulnerable saves but I cant find the rules in the codex?
Help much appreciated!

Was Cursed Earth or Forwarning or the Warpstorm's 10 result "Warp Surge" or the +1 Invul from the Death from the Skies table in effect?

I don't know much about daemons, but I know that mini wargaming batreps make about as many mistakes you could possibly make. Automatically Appended Next Post: In the Chaos space marines codex anything with a mark of tzeentch gets a better invulnerable save. Tzeentch daemons do not get this, and as far as I know tzeetnch daemons don't have a 4+ naturally either.

I don't think cursed earth etc. was in effect, the pink horrors also had a 4+ invulnerable save for the whole game.
So Lords of change, pink horrors and other tzeentch daemons really only have a stock 5+ invulnerable then?

If it's the batrep I'm thinking of that was just a week or so ago that was demons v. tyranids, I think the pink horrors have 4+ cover, not invluns. Perhaps a specific citation would help.
But, in general, yes, demons have only a 5++. This can be improved by things like cursed earth, psychic powers, or greater rewards.
Also, if it's the same batrep I'm thinking of, the demon player got the warp storm value that improved the demon save of all demons by 1, making all demons 4++ for a turn. It might have been that.

Yes it was that batrep, my mistake on the pink horrors. I could have sworn that the LOC was playing with a 4+ invulnerable save all game though, I may be mistaken though, I always thought like the csm codex tzeentch daemons had plus one to their invuln saves and have been searching my codex for half hour lol.

I am pretty sure at one point he got a 10 on the warp storm table, giving all daemons +1 to their invulnerable save. Then his LoC did jink saves.
He messed up a lot of stuff though, like flamers and screamers having 2 wounds.
