Subject: Badger Khrome issue I can't solve

So here is the problem.
Air is spraying just fine when I push down. However when I pull the trigger back the paint is not coming out. I cleaned out the paint and stripped the airbrush (needle, nozzle etc.) cleaned it all again. Made sure the needle was not bent and that the nozzle was strait and not clogged. Reassembled and tried spraying just water. Same results.
So I am stumped. I'm wondering if its not something in the trigger assembly.
HELP please.

When you have it assembled, watch the needle tip when you pull the trigger back. If it retracts, the trigger assembly is fine. Most likely it's a clog in the feed from the cup, but i've never had mine clog that bad.

Needle is retracting when pulled back. The clog would have to be between the cup and the end then right?

Ive had this before. Just keep disassembling and reassembling until it works.. Airbrushes are like computers. Sometimes they mess up for no discernable reason

So just turn it off and back on again?

Right. Have you tried backflushing it? Put some airbrush cleaner in the cup and take a paper towel or rag and pinch off the nozzle (be careful not to stab yourself). Then while you are holding it like that, pull the trigger back and shoot a full blast through it. If everything is right, the air should be forced back through the cup, causing bubbles. You may have to adjust your grip on the nozzle a bit to get it to work.
If it doesn't i'd say you almost definitely have a clog just past the cup. Also it's good practice to do that whenever you clean it between color changes as well. Just make sure to dump the cup after and not shoot what you just backflushed back through the system.

I found the clog, thanks to RedModelPainting (Ashton)
He was right cleaned out those holes and its running like a champ.
Who would have thought? I wouldn't have ever thought to check them.

No matter how thoroughly you think you've cleaned them, you can still clean them better.

Glad you got fixed. I blast a couple cups of airbrush cleaner through mine then twar it down and dunk it in an ultrasonic cleaner after I get done and haven't really run across that issue. Sometimes if I forget to give it a bath the needle will stick, but other than that no really issues.

I've never had an issue like this before.
I usually shoot cleaner between colors, then at the end of a session do a full break down and cleaning followed by a bit of lube on the threads and needle.
The last thing I shot through it was an ink though.... gonna have to be more thorough in the future.
