Hey guys. I have a question for you guys. There is a group on Facebook called Poppy's Angels and it is a site dedicated to raising money for a 2 year old girl who has cancer. Now this page is Miniature and Hobby related. They are raffling off some minis and even whole armies painted by some big names in order to raise money for the family of this sweet, sweet little girl. Since it is somewhat hobby related and also for a great cause I was wondering if you guys would allow me to link the page here for others to see so that they may help out and also enter the raffles for some great minis of all kinds. So would anyone object to this? Im not with the people doing the raffles. Im just a guy who thinks its a great cause and want to help out the family of Poppy.

I know that sometimes it seems like there are some problems with people trying to raise money, although the hobby related aspect could go a ways towards mitigating them.

One thing that has been suggested in the past, and which I have done when I was raising money for a charity walk that I participated in, is to put a short description with a link in your signature. That way it is still visible, but it doesn't really run the risk of being considered spam or anything like that.

Of course if the raffle for the hobby stuff makes it on-topic enough and safe to post in the OT section, then doing both (a post and adding it to your signature) might even be more effective.

Ok everyone. If you are interested in the raffles and helping out a precious, sick little girl then look up the Facebook Page "Poppy's Angels". Its a closed group and you have to get approved to join but that wont be a problem. Its for a good cause and some awesome stuff are going to be up for the raffle. The more tickets sold, the more prizes up for grabs

Put it in your sig otherwise not a lot of people will see it because not many people look into Nuts & Bolts.
