I don't get much painting done. I am rather lazy. I am also easily sidetracked by conversions, and not the sort of conversions where you end up with something good. The sort of conversions where you end up with half of a rather odd looking Kustom Mega Blasta. I have tried to get around this by blogging before, and it hasn't worked. I just end up putting off the hobby altogether. I am hoping to avoid this by aiming to build or paint 6 models from 3 out of my 4 (technically 5, but I don't like my space marines) armies each month. More detailed rules in the spoiler.
First month's stuff (I need a better photography setup. Diffusion paper and tripod are on the shopping list.):

Two ogres, to be converted into giant semi uruk hai. Higher ranking ogres will look more like uruk hai (better armour and weapons). These two will be fairly low ranking proof of concepts. I am waiting on a jeweller's saw to truescale them slightly.

5 orcs and a marsh spectre. I play Angmar.

5 skinks and an oldblood. The oldblood will be darker than, rather than lighter than, the rest of the saurus.

The spectre's face is rather blobby. I have touched this up with a thin blue wash.

Seems like you've got your work cut out for you Having a goal to work towards is certainly rewarding (something I'm trying (and failing) to do with my Chaos army), and I like the points system you've created for yourself

Now you've mentioned that blogging isn't helping your painting schedule forwards much, so what kind of updates can we expect, and what kind of feedback would you like?

You can expect posts saying that I have left most of my grey paints at a friend's house, which I have just done
The updates will change depending on how interesting what I'm painting is. Often it'll just be a picture of the month's six grunts when I finish them, but test paint schemes and conversions will get updates as I work through them.
