Hey guys. Ive been using Citadels Lahmian Medium and I really like it and looking to get more for my money because as you know, $4USD for 12ml is expensive. Is there something made by either Liqutex or Winsor & Newton thats basically the same thing as Lahmian Medium? Ive looked at my local Hobby Lobby but there is so many different kinds of stuff I dont know what to get. I have some W&N Flow Improver but I dont think its the same as the Lahmian Medium. Any help would be appreciated as Im about to head out to go to Hobby Lobby for brushes. Thanks.

Do you happen to know the exact name of it? They have about a zillion different types and I didnt know what to buy. The only thing I knew was that they were all either white or really thick like liquid closer to a gel. I would prefer it clear and about the same thickness of the Lahmian Medium.

1st one is just the Matte Medium. 2nd is the same but, also has a dry retarder in it.

They are not white once you use them.

I use liquitex matte medium, and golden brand airbrush medium. Both are white in the bottle, but mix in clear with paint.

You can get them at most art and craft stores.

Although I love Liquitex's mediums and use them pretty much every day, none of them are really like Lahmian Medium. That's a very unique medium and I have yet to find one that has similar properties.
