Basically in the IG codex it states Tank Commanders and Pask may be selected as your warlord.

Now for me this is great! Finally an IG warlord with some survivability!

Then the arguments started, in the BRB it clearly states the unit with the highest Ld profile must be your warlord. The commander has Ld - (thus 0) on his profile. In the end we rolled off, but what is your guys opinion on the matter?

The BRB actually says no such thing if you give it a long, hard look.

No, it doesn't. You need to update your rulebook from 6th edition to 7th.

Although, interestingly, the Guard codex published in 6th, meaning it was a valid question, for all of a month.

Just like the relic bolt pistol which gave precision shot when characters all had it in 6th.

TC and Pask are good, but need a lot of protection. It's just a LR chassis at the end of the day which isn't as good as it used to be and is usually a fire magnet anyway...

Not to revive a somewhat old thread, but if you kill Pask but not the other tank in the squadron, do you get Slay the Warlord?

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

If Pask is the Warlord I'd say yes. Same as if your Warlord was a squad Sergeant.

Slay the Warlord is achieved if the Warlord has been removed as a casualty, so yes, only killing Pask works.
