Hey guys, I'm a former Fantasy player...*cough*Dark Elves*cough* that's been really interested in starting 40K for a long time, but can't settle on a first army cause right now...all the models for all the races are just plain awesome. But I might start with Space Marines...next chore is to decide on either an established chapter or a custom made one. Anyway, just introducing myself and look forward to assimilate all the advice

In terms of chapters, I always liked making my own. Just have to be careful about staying consistent with Space Marine fluff. Unless you play with people who don't care about that sort of thing, in which case, congratulations!!

Dark Elves, eh? Never heard of 'em. Are they some sort of subrace of the Aelfs?
