Hello everybody, just wanted to pop in for the obligatory introduction post.

I've been a long-time fan of Warhammer 40k and Fantasy between the fluff and the video games and friends who played the tabletop versions of both. Long have I resisted that Siren's call that beckoned me to the table. The seeds that GW planted in me over a decade ago are finally coming to fruition and I've decided to adopt the accursed 40k tabletop hobby.

tl:dr - GW got their hooks in me a long time ago and I'm finally ready to embrace the hobby. Heard this place was a great source of information and a vibrant, friendly community, and thus far (from stalking through the forums as a guest) it hasn't disappointed.
