I searched the forum and couldn't find anything. Has anyone made their own stencils that can be used on curved surfaces? I am wondering what material I should make the stencil out of that would be flexible, durable enough for multiple uses of drybrushing or airbrushing...

You could try very thin plasticard? Like, 0.4 mm?

They make stencil paper. You can also use regular paper covered with tape, overhead projector film etc.

The hard part is cutting it out, especially if your image is very small and complex.

Painters tape is what I use, but I also backed the FH kickstarter, who make vinyl stencils. They sell on their website now too -> http://www.fallouthobbies.com/

It really depends on how flexible you need it, but I've been doing all of my stencil work by cutting out stencil vinyl with a Silhouette Portrait. It will save you a ton of time and vinyl is fairly flexible and you can get an adhesive version that is pretty reusable (up to a point, of course). The best part is how fine the detail can be in your stencils.

For example, these are 10mm DZC minis - https://www.flickr.com/photos/dullspork/15265681200/in/album-72157648411488161/

That's awesome but there is no way I can spend that much money to buy a machine like that. Maybe someone online can take orders for that sort of thing? lol.
