Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

I'm pretty sure it could survive, depending on whether the car is magnetic or not.

Important work here. No longer are Imperial Knights hindered by their inability to walk up walls.

Thats some impressive magnets to hold that thing up. I know its a plastic model which isnt that terribly heavy but it is a big model nontheless and all on a small surface area.

Imperial Knights with Magnetium Armour are automatically granted Jink

Before any to hit dice are rolled, declare if you are using Jink. Jink provides a 2+ cover save however; the models are forced to Snap Shot (BS1) the following turn.

Neat. Are the magnets in the toes or the bottom of the feet?

The front and back toes of each foot are completely filled with magnets the size of the inside of the toe. It's actually physically difficult to remove from a flat, magnetic surface.

And I believe that it gets Outflank because it walks around the metal rim of the table

Who needs turrets when you can have magnetic knights on the side of your spaceship. They can self adjust their targeting much quicker and easier than regular turrets, and have more flexibility when it comes to aiming. And, as a hidden bonus, your enemies die while being unsure if what they're seeing is actually true.
