Hey Dakka.

Back at the stat of 2015, I decided that Imperial Fists would be my project for the year. I've been working away on them, which you can see in my blog.
I will periodically come back to this thread, and update it with the most recently completed units. So stay tuned

The checkers makes him look like a lamenter dreadnought.

Like what you've done with the scouts, must be nice to take a break from painting yellow - but nevertheless they fit in really well. The dreadnought is beautiful, in a gritty-sorta-way, and the yellow appears very evenly.

Do you know what your sin is, Malcolm Reynolds?
Ah hell, I'm a fan of all seven.
But right now, I'm gonna have to go with wrath.

Thanks for your kind words, guys

The thread has been updated with the next batch of minis I have finished - A tactical squad and a Terminator squad.

Enjoy!

This army oozes grimdark and grittiness - never again shall eyebrows be raised at the suggestion of yellow! The terminator squad is particularly impressive - what rules are you using for those guys, 'cause I'm pretty sure that's no ordinary terminator squad.
I think the Cataphracti terminator is inspiring.

Big update. Lots of new stuff!

Thanks Drakeslayer! The terminator squad is comprised of a mix of both assault and tactical terminators. I have the others ready and waiting for some paint. Enough to make a 5man squad of both tactical and assault termies.

I spy Anvil Industry Parts! The assault marines look very good, and the librarian adds a nice spot of blue in amidst that immovable wall of yellow.

I really like the chipped and dirty yellow you have going. These guys look like they've been in a war zone for days, battling it out. Really cool.

And very consistent quality over such a lage force, which is impressive.

My only complaint is some of the pictures seem a bit dark.

Great work on this army. Beautiful!

Those Fists are gorgeous Zambro. I'm envious of your ability to paint yellow.

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Thanks a lot, everyone, for the comments and encouragement.

New Update: Lysander!
Bit of a shock to the system with a new job, but finally getting back into the swing of painting. I'd give it a week or so before I have another update for you. No spoilers on what it could be, though
