A little note on what this is. It is a laser cutter designed for use on a variety of materials and the setup is a little different than standard cutters. The "3d printer" claim is due to the fact that your cuttings can be assembled into 3d objects as shown in the video. Where this applies to us is those laser cut particleboard buildings that only seem to be made in the UK can now be made at your own home. You only need a decent pattern. Okay, it's time to get those patterns out for everyone to use.

Initally it's set at about $2000 with an expected $4000 retail price. I don't know if it will stay that high, though. I think there will be plenty available around the $1800 range.
