Templar Brethren (x7), champion with combat shield and solarite gauntlet, land raider with dozer blade, extra armor, MM, 525pts

ELITES:

Contemptor-Mortis Dreadnought, dual Kheres ACs, havoc launcher, 195pts
Legion Rapier Weapons Battery, quad mortar, 60pts
Legion Veteran Tactical Squad (x10), 2x HBs with suspensor web, vexila, srgt with AA, combi-melta, PF, rhino with dozer blade, snipers, 325pts

HEAVY SUPPORT:

Legion Heavy Support Squad (x5), all lascannons, 235pts

TOTAL: 2000pts on the dot.

Sigismund and his templars along with the primus and chaplain ride in the LR and gun it to the enemy lines, the tacticals and vets support them with BS5 bolter goodness. Got minimal fire-support from the lascannons and rapier battery and the mortis provides a little bit of AA as well.

Thoughts?

Although Sigismund makes templar brethren troops, I do not believe they count as compulsory troops. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure you need to take another tac squad or breacher squad to be legal.

IMO, you've gone too hard on the deathstar. You have a single heavy armor target, and once the landraider dies you have 700pts moving slowly around the field. I'd probably drop both consuls. A single determined whirlwind scorpius could cause you huge problems, or all I need to do is charge you with a contemptor, and there is nothing in that deathstar that can wound it.

EDIT: I looked into it more, and yes, Templar Brethren can be used as Compulsory Troops since he does not have a Rite of War. If he had taken the Stone Gauntlet, this would not be the case.

I'll tweak and see if I can even things out a bit, tough to support the regular infantry since you can't fit a min squad with an IC since they don't fit in a rhino...

Is there any way for you to get a veteran tac squad as a troop? then you'd have a 5 man squad instead of 10. Sorry I am a super noob at list construction for HH, but I have seen some armies can have vet tacs as troops and others they're elites.

Just a thought man. Other than that, idk - you could run a specialist squad in a rhino? Maybe plasma guns?

I dont see Armoured Ceramite on that LR. I would drop everything to get that
